12 Generations (Oil Spill 2)
Sterling Silver, Moonstone, Ammolite, Carnelian
This piece stylistically leans towards a Native American Squash Blossom and derives its theme from the tradition of making choices with the consideration of the impact that those choices have on future generations. Ammolite, at the center representing fossil fuel is flanked by the sun and the moon along with the 12 “bones” of our children as links in the chain.
