The Amazing Hydraulic Press 3 Sessions

Session 1: Hollow Forms

Puff up your work with silhouette die forming using the Hydraulic Press. This workshop will cover how to create hollow forms using this exciting tool using stock dies and an original die that you will make. Great for making spoons,

Session 2: Die Stamping

Die stamping is the process of cutting multiples of the same shape to be used in a design. A lot like using a disc cutter but with more shape options to choose from.

Session 3: Embossing

Create embossed textures using the Hydraulic Press.This workshop will cover how to emboss copper and silver sheet using this exciting tool with stock embossing plates as well as an original design that you create. Your embossed sheet can then be made into a matching set of jewelry.

Must have completed Beginning Silversmithing or equivalent. Minimum age 13.

The Pen Plater

Add a touch of gold to any of your jewelry designs with just the touch of a pen! This workshop will introduce you to the exciting pen plater and how to plate select areas of your design. Bring a previously created project to embellish with gold. Must have completed Beginning Silversmithing or equivalent.1 session.

The Sandblaster

Incorporate beautiful contrasting finishes and illustrations in your work with this exciting tool. This workshop will cover everything you need to know when using a sandblaster. You will sandblast a panel of copper as a test sample. Then create a piece of jewelry to be masked and blasted. Must have completed Beginning Silversmithing or equivalent. Minimum age 13. 1 session.
